Let's just take a moment to enjoy the fact that @dailymail.co.uk's poll backfired on them yesterday.
They wrote a misleading article about Violet Affleck's speech at the UN (she didn't call for a mask mandate), and expected their readers to say 'no' to masks in healthcare.

@mrjamesob.bsky.social Any chance of you covering this? It would make us all a lot less sick, and the number of people who die from being infected with Covid WHILE IN HOSPITAL would go down. Currently, 1 in 10 of those infected with covid in hospital die. Which seems important.

Just one further correction, it is crystal clear from the DfE's OWN DATA that illness is the PRIMARY reason for absence, it has been higher since Covid hit and has remained high.
AND the teachers are more sick too.
