Agree w/yr stmt on AI. It is not “intelligent” or “creative”. Only artificial. If you can’t draw, consider making tiny dioramas w/dollhouse objects & photographing them. It’s legit illustration. I’m def lucky I inherited my aunt’s tiny animals & dollhouse, but give it a try. This is my own (C) work.

Out in Minnetonka we had unicorns and raccoons. Might have been the Minnesota Raccoon!

Just unbelievable. That the trajectory of a country can just change course and go backwards after its 250 year run of progress, health improvements, and betterment 😢

More! More of this!!! How amazing to see another dear rescue in the barns exploring everything. She looks so excited, and who can blame her?! Look at her already hanging with her mates and pals running down the barn! If this is what more rescues means at Squirrelwood, it’s a joyful, wonderful start!

No way! My mother worked in office & labs at ADM in 1938 before getting her bio chem degree. I’ve never confirmed, but I think the brick bldg was the office. It’s still standing & I’m sick to go past it on U Transitway, as it’s hollowed out/all windows broken. 2nd photo was “game day” (not my mom!).

Ok I forgot I had this book on my shelf from years ago. I guess because fairy tales and Shakespeare, and of course Jane Austin, tend to deal with the question of human nature, they lend themselves to retelling and reframing and revisioning from new perspectives.

I found this photo card in my German immigrant Great-Grandmother’s Vict. photo album & researched it. It was a popular image, although it wouldn’t be my taste to put it in my album w/family members 😟 I believe the photos of Bill Chadwell and Clell Miller are death portraits, which I find grotesque!
