I have been talking about this for a while. Many companies especially the big tech ones are laying off people which helps their stock price by keeping earnings high, but no one is considering the impact on the economy of thousands upon thousands of workers unemployed.

Well, Fam, just found out our health insurance is jumping from $1700 to over $3000 a month. And we still have to wait till Nov 1 to see more options—when the site will probably crash because everyone will be freaking out at the same time.
