We know that clean and secure energy is imperative, but we need a better balance.

Un lle mae ffermwyr yn cael eu parchu fel partneriaid.

Because when we lose farmland - we do not just lose food; we lose livelihoods, heritage, and the ability to meet our own needs.
September 5, 2025 at 8:35 AM
Mae newidiadau Llafur i dreth etifeddiant wedi’u seilio ar y gred bod ffermwyr yn gyfoethog.

Dyw hyn ddim yn wir yng Nghymru lle mae nifer o ffermydd teuluol yn gwneud bach iawn o elw.

Rhaid i Lywodraeth y DU wrthdroi'r polisi annheg hwn i amddiffyn ein cymunedau gwledig.

Labour’s changes to inheritance tax is based on the assumption that farmers are rich.

This is not true in Wales where many family farms make very little profit.

The UK Government must reverse this unfair policy to protect our rural communities.

Neithiwr, pwysleisiais pam nad targedu’r rhai mwyaf bregus i wneud arbedion ariannol yw’r opsiwn cywir ar unrhyw gyfrif.

Chwalwyd y Mesur Lles o flaen ein llygaid, gan ddangos yn glir ddiffyg cyfeiriad Llafur.

Bydd Plaid Cymru wastad yn gwerthwynebu ymosodiadau creulon ar bobl anabl.

Last night, I highlighted
why targeting the most vulnerable to make financial savings is never the right option.

The UK Government’s Welfare Bill crumbled before our eyes, exposing Labour’s complete lack of direction.

Plaid Cymru will always stand up to cruel attacks on disabled people.
July 2, 2025 at 12:45 PM
Heno, pleidleisiais yn erbyn y mesur Credyd Cynhwysol a Thaliad Annibyniaeth Personol.

Tonight, I voted against the Universal Credit and PIP Bill.

We must do more to help disabled people to play their fullest possible role in society. Cutting support is not the way to do that.

Bydd y cyfyngiadau yn sgil clefyd y tafod glas yn cael effaith ddinistriol ar ffermio Cymru.

Heddiw, yn PMQs gofynnais i’r Dirprwy Brif Weinidog ymrwymo i gynllun iawndal i ffermwyr am eu colledion.

Amlygodd ei hateb diddim ddiffyg dealltwriaeth Llafur o’r heriau y mae’r sector yn eu hwynebu.

The disruption of bluetongue restrictions could be devastating for Welsh farming.

During PMQs today, I asked the Deputy PM to commit to a scheme to compensate farming businesses for losses.

Her evasive answer exposes Labour's lack of understanding of the sector’s challenges.

It was great to attend the WRU’s drop-in event this afternoon to celebrate the success of the Fit, Fed & Fun programme.

It was also lovely to catch up with former Wales captain and two-time British & Irish Lion, Ken Owens. Diolch for coming over to Westminster 🏉

Roedd hi'n wych galw heibio digwyddiad Undeb Rygbi Cymru y prynhawn yma i ddathlu llwyddiant eu rhaglen ‘Fit, Fed & Fun’.

Roedd hi hefyd yn hyfryd cael sgwrs gyda chyn-gapten Cymru a'r aelod o dîm y Llewod Prydeinig a Gwyddelig, Ken Owens. Diolch am ddod draw i San Steffan 🏉

Mae gormod o fy etholwyr wedi codi pryderon ynghylch cynllun ECO4.

Mae’n rhaid i ni ddeall effaith y problemau yma ar aelwydydd bregus a dysgu wrthynt wrth i ni symud tuag at unrhyw gynlluniau yn y dyfodol i wneud cartrefi'n fwy effeithlon o ran ynni.
June 17, 2025 at 10:35 AM
Too many of my constituents have raised concerns about the ECO4 scheme.

We must examine the impact of these issues on vulnerable households and ensure we learn from them as move towards future initiatives aimed at improving home energy efficiency.

"We support green energy but it doesn't have to come at the cost of our countryside"

Mewn trafodaeth ar 'Planning and Infrastructure Bill' amlinellais bwysigrwydd tanddearu ceblau trydan.

A snippet of my speech during discussions on the Planning and Infrastructure Bill
June 13, 2025 at 11:07 AM
Today, during PMQs I raised the brutal murder of my constituent, Mr O’Leary.

I asked Keir Starmer whether he would meet with me to discuss legislation that would ensure that the legal system not only supports grieving families but also recognises the deep harm caused by such acts.
June 11, 2025 at 4:55 PM
Heddiw, yn PMQs codais lofruddiaeth greulon fy etholwr, Mr O’Leary.

Gofynnais a fyddai Keir Starmer yn cwrdd â mi i drafod deddfwriaeth byddai’n sicrhau bod y system gyfreithiol nid yn unig yn cefnogi teuluoedd sy’n galaru ond hefyd yn cydnabod y niwed difrifol a achosir gan weithredoedd o’r fath.

🥀 Pleidleisiodd pob AS Llafur yng Nghymru gyda’r Llywodraeth i dorri Taliadau Tanwydd Gaeaf.

❌ Dyw hanner newid eu meddyliau ar hyn nawr, ddim yn ddigon da.

🤔 Er efallai mai cof byr sydd gan Lywodraeth y DU, mae eu penderfyniadau wedi cael effaith hirdymor!
May 22, 2025 at 11:50 AM
🥀 Every Labour MP in Wales voted with the Government to cut Winter Fuel Payments.

❌ Half U-Turns now are too little, too late.

🤔 Whilst the UK Government may have a short memory, their decisions have had a long-lasting impact!
