I definitely need to get rainwater barrels eventually but I’m not caught up enough financially to justify buying them right now when I can just do it in gallon jugs. By the start of next rain season we should have barrels set up.

This heavy rain today has allowed me to replenish my rainwater collection 🤩I’m sad it’s taken me so long to get into collecting water because it’s quite possible I could have been watering most of my outdoor garden in the summertime for at least a month on rainwater alone if I had proper storage.

Stressed because my grandmother isn’t doing well and I can’t tell if it’s generally what happens when people get older or if she’s on a legitimate physical downward spiral 😢 all I know is it’s hard to recover from small injuries when you’re in ur 70’s and it sucks.

I was extremely envious of how well my neighbours down the street grew their corn this year. Of the three sisters, the beans were the only ones that did well this year. 🌱🌽🫛🎃

I love this time of year because all the outdoor/camping stuff is on sale. They usually try to sell this at Shoppers for $10-15 and now it’s $1.99 😉🏕️ 🦂

This is probably the last book in my life and the first as an adult to have a profound impact on my life. I rarely read fiction now and sometimes it blows my mind that I read this 600 page masterpiece among 10+ other books while travelling South America.
I miss having free time.
I miss dreaming.
