This weekend I visited Hanover as an admitted Dartmouth Geisel School of Medicine student! The area is so lovely, and the people are even better!

Here are the 25 institutions that receive the most NIH funding (98% of HHS is NIH). Basically, they're large schools with large hospitals. They receive 50% of all NIH funding.

Received a letter from POTUS today purporting to remove me as Commissioner and Chair of the FEC. There's a legal way to replace FEC commissioners-this isn't it. I've been so fortunate to serve the American people and stir up some good trouble along the way. That's not changing anytime soon.

The Internet Archive has to date downloaded 500 terabytes of US government websites, which it crawls at the end of every presidential term. The whole archive is fully searchable. This effort's housed by a donation-funded nonprofit, not a branch of the US government. blog.archive.org/2024/05/08/e...

Advice given during my last medical school interview: try to be as close to 100% when you start because it chips away at you over four years.

A first post on a new platform: my name is Anna and I am an X-ray technologist working in Washington, DC! I have also been accepted to medical school so I will be beginning that journey next fall (2025). I also try to travel as often as I can to see underwater creatures, like this bigfin reef squid.
