I requested my leave for Mardi Gras and Ash Wednesday today cause I desperately needed something to look forward to, and that something may just be fried chicken and champagne and king cake.

Today I mostly read books, played video games, went to the gym, and cuddled with my girl. (She needs lots of encouragement, she’s going to the vet tomorrow.)

The cafe we had lunch at this morning had these cookies and I thought they were so funny so my husband bought one for me.

I’ve started unfollowing any creator that is outright thrilled for the return of TikTok. If y’all read those thank you messages to trump and didn’t care, I assume supporting blatant propaganda machines isn’t a dealbreaker as long as you get a few bucks from it.

The thing I hate about stepping away from meta is instagram. I have used instagram since before meta bought it. It is unequivocally my fav social media. Meta buying instagram has easily made it a worse product, but I stuck around because I like the core function of instagram. I resent meta taking it
