The @arizonastateuni.bsky.social Morrison Institute for Public Policy puts the housing shortage statewide at 270,000 homes. And no wonder when large-lot single family housing is dominant & as-of-right allowances for multi-family housing in the region are just those areas in purple (NZA screenshot):

My apologies for not responding in a timely manner. I recognize that my priority should have been tweeting about this incident instead of working with a coalition of partners to ensure the family has the resources needed while fielding endless calls daily from concerned residents. I will do better.
