#Ukraine and European leaders must be part of negotiations to end the war with #Russia. Ukraine is part of #Europe and its future is tied to the future of Europe. The Trump gov doesn't seem to understand this.They could do with lessons in geography, history, diplomacy & international relations.

Appalling threats from the #US but their arguably justified demand for #NATO countries to increase #defensespending would mean cut public spending or raise taxes for the rich.
The latter seems a no-brainer but governments won't do this as they wrongly think they'll scare off investors.
