Anyway, I do understand where you’re coming from. I just didn’t like the word choice of that article. We’re all terrified right now. But we’ve always survived, and we will again. But things will probably go back to how they were when I started this, which were not good. Ugh.

Who’s saying HRT isn’t necessary? This EO is about expelling trans folks from the military for Cristofascist reasons. That puts them out of a job and violates the Constitution, but it doesn’t force them to detransition.

If someone posts, "trans people are being killed at this location," I read that as they're actually being shot/stabbed/etc.

I'm just not familiar with your perspective. Something being unpleasant or worsening your mental health does not, in most cases, lead *immediately* to death. So, I'm saying, let's be specific with our words. These are dangerous times.

Let's turn that question around: Do you actually believe that stopping depression meds or HRT instantly kills you? Like, how, for example, a diabetic not getting insulin could potentially be life threatening. You know that's not true of (most) depression meds or HRT, right?

Because the military controls all aspects of your life -- you give up civil rights to enlist. But if you *really* think that's possible, I'll ask one of my trans vet friends. She'll probably go off on some weird, traumatic tale; she always does.

Pausing HRT is not medically fatal. You're exaggerating to make a point. I understand the reason why, but I don't think it's helpful. We're in a very dangerous time -- misinformation is bad.

People won’t think you’re “valid” if you’re not on HRT? I never thought of it that way. I was always more focused on the social aspect. But eventually, I stopped caring what people thought (almost) entirely.

I don’t think you realize how much worse this could get. You *will* survive without your HRT — lots of us have for long periods of time. It sucks. But it’s usually not fatal.
