Unfortunately, the Attorney General would need to bring charges against this (per 18 U.S. Code § 2441), and we know that won't happen. There likely won't even be an investigation. Nevertheless, they know what they did was profoundly wrong, as shown by ADM Bradley's retirement shortly afterwards.

This is why that video on illegal orders was released. This is an illegal order that was given and followed. Everyone in the chain of command who was complicit in this execution of these shipwreck survivors, from Secretary Hegseth to ADM Bradley to the Navy SEALs, should be held accountable.

This is an order that is illegal to verbalize or write, let alone carry out successfully. There is no situation in which it is legal to kill unarmed, shipwrecked survivors (those who are hors de combat). Nobody in the chain of command can claim ignorance, as this is a patently illegal order.

The First Amendment, along with the Hatch Act, permits DoD civilians (and other federal employees) to express themselves during their off-duty time. It is well established that it is illegal to fire federal employees for expressing their views or engaging in constitutionally protected speech.

This is also a great example of the weaponization of the federal government, something they falsely claim to be against.

So is Trump pulling a Palpatine and saying "I am the Congress?" Either way, very unconstitutional.
