If this is true, and I honestly have little doubt it is based on how they speak about these attacks, this is unambiguously a war crime. It is a clear violation of both the Hague Convention of 1907 and the Geneva Conventions of 1949, violations of which are illegal under 18 U.S. Code § 2441.

It certainly looks like the Democrats are going to cave. They managed to last this long, which is surprising to me. What isn't surprising is that they are going to end up accepting a deal that offers them nothing in return. That's par for the course for them.

I was rewatching A Few Good Men and realized that in today's military, Colonel Jessup would be given a pardon and held up as a standard of how military officers are supposed to act. Current leadership seems to think that the ends justify the means and that people must be toughened up by any means.

Iconoclasm at its finest. A major motivation for this is simply to spread hatred and stoke anger. Another article quotes Josh Hawley on this topic, "I saw it today. It looks fantastic. I'm delighted he is doing it, and I love seeing these liberals melt down."

If we're firing news personalities for hateful speech, can we do this one next? I feel like calling for homeless people to undergo "involuntary lethal injection" and for us to "just kill them" is actually worse than what Matthew Dowd said.

This is another example of the GOP's war on the freedom of speech and expression. They absolutely HATE that people are still allowed to disagree with them. They are very much in favor of cancel culture. In fact, it seems they are one of its largest supporters.

It's just going to be changed back by the next administration. That's if Congress even allows these clowns to continue to play soldier and pretend that they are big, tough, and important. Until then, it's just them politely asking people to respect their transition and to please not deadname them.
