Habitually online 30's cat lady near Seattle. I cook, homebrew, and hang out with my hockey-playing spouse. You can find us thrifting, traveling, or decorating the 12ft skeleton in our yard. Still masking/Covid-Conscious & probably a buzzkill about it.
Then there's my dad, who sends an ominous "Can you call me?" text when it's just some innocuous question, but *also* uses a text to blindside me with "something is wrong with my heart and they said I need surgery" on a workday with no warning.

3.5 years in and my work still won't tell anybody when someone comes in to the office sick with covid because they've never been able to understand that WA Dept. of Health REQUIRED employee notification and instead they'd just incorrectly cite HIPAA.
