A professional come over to deal with my mouse problem today. The man was just wee bit too excited to discuss what he knows of mouse habits, travel patterns, and the method of action for the poison box he put under my kitchen sink. As if my subconscious brain required more material for my dreams.

1/ I'm constantly amazed at the naivety of so much of conservation science (& other mission-driven disciplines)

As if all we have to do is generate the evidence and society's leaders will use it to do what's needed
