I finished sewing a dress I've been working on this past week. It is comfortable and warming as I hoped. But it wasn't fun at the end because I felt internal pressure to get it done I can clean my studio/living room. So many opportunities to speak kindly to myself.

There's a quiet in this week, this coldness, this wet. The Christmas market booths are being set up but not yet lit nor stocked. The chain store staff lug giant Advent Calendar boxes of chocolate up on the shelves near the cash registers. Festival is just around the corner but it is not yet now.
