Fumbling with a new phone, I caught this butterfly in the sun while I was watering tomatoes in the morning.

A blue Merle border collie mix with blue eyes is held in the arms of an unremarkable person. He has a white blaze, snout and chest. Otherwise his fur is dark with tan points. He looks a bit surprised.

I miss my lil fella, Jonti, a border collie mix. Such a fun, smart dog to work with.

My Easter-egger hen laid her first egg of the season. It’s a bit early, and also a nice surprise since she is an older lady, and I thought last fall that she was done laying eggs.
A brown wicker basket shaped like a duck has eggs in it. The largest egg is green, the other are tan. The basket is on a kitchen table with blue and white checked placemats.
