It’s been nearly a decade since I last visited and I miss it dearly!

Incredible example of the exact issue with Democrats right now: not listening to the actually people being impacted, and instead choosing to be snarky and patronising.
January 17, 2026 at 6:15 PM
Many of the people who are most vocal in their criticism of the Democrats are those who are most betrayed by them - those of us who are from already marginalised and vulnerable communities.

When you say shit like quoted posts below, it’s just as dehumanising as any other bigoted shit we hear, tbh!

alright I can’t deal with another bout of non-violence discourse, everyone has to read these two books before they can weigh in now

btw in case you’re a fellow switch user, feel free to add me and watch as I put another 100 hours into this baby game for babies (complementary, as I am a big baby)

🏺 Oh hey, now that #AnimalCrossing is back and I’ve got a better means of decompressing from the Hellscape that is our current reality, I can also reshare some of my previous writing on the connections between Animal Crossing, archaeology, and museums. ⬇️

🏺 Back at it again with my collections survey work and I feel obligated to share this lovely little doll from Beni Hasan, currently held at Eton College.

please enjoy this photo of the family dog as a token of my thanks for you all not unfollowing in droves while I was complaining the whole trip

Offering a brief respite in the hellscape that is today through this photo of toddler Alex clearly terrified to be next to ET that we just found.

📽️ Need to be better at logging my films on here - but damn, my most viewed on Letterbox for last year are incredibly on brand for me.

This is in response to me saying that marginalised people are already suffering under a Labour government, btw.

I’m blocking this deeply evil person but I want centrists to realise that this is exactly what you are fighting for - a nicer, quieter bigotry that will continue to destroy lives.

One of the “excessive irate replies” btw is mine - apparently being a racialised immigrant in the UK terrified of being ripped away from friends and family by a horrifically racist and xenophobic government is “😜”.
January 2, 2026 at 1:54 PM
by this logic, hating Starmer for his documented use of anti-immigrant and racist rhetoric (as well as the anti-immigrant and racist policies his party has championed) makes you a conspiracy theorist

so is racism and anti-immigrant sentiment not a real danger? sounds about white, eh.

Happy New Year from this very normal dog. #dogs
December 31, 2025 at 4:44 PM
Sadly unsure what the exact reason was but very funny that someone clearly was so mad at something I said that they put me on three different block lists.
December 30, 2025 at 11:43 PM
These kind of dogshit takes are included in my rejection of “return to status quo” politics.

If you refuse to recognise the interconnectivity of state-sanctioned violence regardless of what department does it, as well as the buy-in required to facilitate it, you are not on my side.

ICE has always been bad and if you don’t believe so, we are not on the same team.

Going to an “Irish American” pub in Orlando, Florida and losing my shit because the menu names are apparently different dependent on if you open it in the US (first image) or UK (second image, via my partner still in England).

We assume the price difference is due to pound vs dollar, lol.
December 27, 2025 at 5:25 PM
The problem with now being England-based is that I truly can never pack correctly for visiting my folks down in the US.

It’s 75 degrees out on Christmas Day and I am slowly melting.

Happy Christmas from the family dog, who found her present early and went absolutely bonkers at 6am. #dogs
