I found some amazing coral mushrooms (not an edible kind) growing in front of our summer cottage in NW Michigan last week. Along with Slippery Jacks and "Chicken Fat" mushrooms which are edible - I sliced and dried those. 😊 #Michigan #wildmushrooms

One thing I love about spending summers in NW Michigan is the proliferation of wildflowers along every rural road & highway across the state. From June to October, each month brings different flowers & different colors - not needing human tending, just blooming by themselves and it's wonderful. ❤️

It's funny because it's so true (also sad, depressing and disheartening.) Would you believe I saved a photo of that pink-wearing NK newswoman several years ago on my phone and share it every so often, pointing out how right wing media has devolved into the same NK authoritarian propaganda machine?

No, the garage was too dim to see anything other than "spider" before my friend stomped on it. The doctor was very reassuring about local spiders being 99.9% harmless, I got a tetanus shot, and was much improved by the next day. But still! Not a fun experience. I hope you're feeling better soon!

I can relate! I stepped barefoot on a spider a couple of months ago and it bit me - I've never experienced such crippling pain, not even a wasp sting was that bad. I didn't think it was a poisonous spider & hated going to an urgent care clinic, but the pain convinced me that I needed an exam. 😢

I'm so sorry you're dealing with a wrist injury - and I really think you should go get it checked out at one of those urgent care clinics or an ER, someplace that can do an x-ray. They can stabilize the wrist properly for you & make sure no further damage happens. Sending healing energy to you! 🤗🙏

I loved him in the M:I movies! 🤗

It doesn't seem like there's ever going to be a sequel to Shaun, but if there is then I know there will be legions of excited fans out there, lining up to see it! 😎❤️

Did you notice the body language? My mom pointed it out: Trump was unconsciously mirroring Putin as the two were sitting together after the meeting. A physical tell for someone seeking the other's approval. Also, his posture was like a little kid sitting in a corner, after doing something wrong.

I remember them claiming that they couldn't breathe, that wearing a mask would cause great harm from restricted airflow including brain damage from insufficient oxygen. And yet here they are now, ICE & other militia/security forces wearing masks which cover the entire face, not dying from asphyxia.

That's impressive, a job in Intelligence! He sounds like a great guy, and doing important work. Fair winds and following seas to him! Even if he's currently land locked. 😊

I appreciate your son's service! Where is he stationed? My stepdad was a Navy Master Chief, his war was Vietnam. One of his ships was the Forrestal, aka "Forest Fire" - a bit of black humor from the sailors after the tragic accident on deck.

Wow, what a family legacy! My great-uncle Joe was a Marine in WWII, he served in the Pacific and was part of the Battle of Iwo Jima. He was a such a great guy, I wish I could have known him as an adult. Those soldiers & sailors truly were the Greatest Generation! ❤️🇺🇸

So after years of trial & error, I decided if all my lilies (and hostas) were proving to be the plants best suited for the soil, sun & environment conditions, why not just keep going with what works. 😎
