Are you caught up? I'm just starting season 2 and I have so many theories that I don't wanna spoil it for people who haven't seen it yet

I just bought / downloaded 4 books on surviving authoritarianism/fascism. I will keep filling my podcast with survival tips and pep talks and give energy to the good stuff.

I'll share feelings and thoughts from time to time but I'm not gonna be shackled to this trauma like I was his first term.

I scrolled the comments for so long, 0 negative comments about tr*mp came up for me. I know you know how little sense that makes. There were a few mild comments about taxes in general but they were *mostly* effusive praise that was some version of "THAT'S MY PRESIDENT GOD BLESS YOU MR. TRUMP 🇺🇸⭐️💪🏻"

It really did! You're so right. Maybe we just make every day for 10 minutes at 12 PST a practice as often as possible? Maybe the feeling will linger

Why does it feel like TikTok will be back but only as a right wing propaganda machine?

The only film of his I haven't yet seen is his version of Dune. I think it's time.

Thanks for all the art and inspiration, David. May you be in peace.

I read Catching The Big Fish and while I never tried transcendental meditation because of the prohibitive cost, I nonetheless admired how vocal he was about what helped him create and live.

In one of the books I read about him, I forget which, he said that production told him the mounds of dirt in Eraserhead were unnecessary and wanted them scrapped and he refused. I loved his tenacity for what made sense to him as an artist.

His work makes visceral sense to me, from Six Men Getting Sick to Eraserhead to Wild at Heart to Lost Highway. I just always love seeing the inside of his brain in film form.
