I just started watching Severance and it's so good I don't know what to do with myself. I'm already getting sad that soon it will be a show I have already seen instead of one I'm experiencing for the first time.

I've decided that I am not going to spend the next 4 years rage posting about their nonsense. I still feel compelled to because all four of my parents worship him, it's so personal to me. But we've been preparing for this, it WILL get worse. I'm not gonna keep raging to the ether.

That was the easiest 10 minutes of meditation I've ever done. Maybe when I need motivation for doing something I'll just tell myself that I'm doing it for David Lynch.

This Lively vs Baldoni case is not what I thought it was at all, and reading Baldoni's lawsuit against Lively's camp, it looks like what this actually is, is the worst possible scenario to be playing out on the world stage. This is bad for everyone. Nobody wins. Everybody loses.

David Lynch gave us the language we needed to better articulate the indescribable strangeness of our shared reality. “Lynchian” is so overused because it’s a viscerally understandable word without any known synonyms. I can’t imagine a more beautiful artistic legacy than that.

The last update I read about David Lynch was that he could no longer leave his house due to his emphysema. I am glad he's no longer suffering. He was the first director whose entire catalogue I watched when I set out to catch up on all the movies that were kept from me in my adolescence.

One of the most surprising revelations about the reality behind so many social media personas has been discovering that people will constantly post pics with, shout out & tag people they HATE. These public displays of friendship and admiration are often all image, zero substance. Drives me insane.

Also, please pay attention to the fact that some of these rapists who are outed by multiple victims and then respond by saying "I'm not a rapist I'm just on the spectrum" have built their platform as writers who are able to specifically articulate intricate human behavior and emotion.

I've been thinking about how in the event of losing everything you own in the blink of an eye, the grieving will happen over and over again forever. Every time a lost treasure is remembered, there will be new grief. My heart aches for everyone in the city and for so many of my devastated loved ones.
