This morning federal agents arrested two hard working immigrants on my street because they didn’t have their papers on them, and tried to arrest my neighbor because his green card was in his house rather than on his person.

We are now a “show me your papers” state, and it is outrageous. Get angry.

This is just freaking horrific. A 19 year old kid with no criminal record, no tattoos, no nothing - got sent to a prison in a country he’s never been to…all because he’s brown? This is so deeply fucked. (Not at all surprising, just fucked). www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025...

My kiddo and I are tubing in Flagstaff, AZ today - highly recommend. However, for a city that’s supposed to average 100+” of snow a year, it’s totally brown here other than artificial snow. This climate change stuff is clearly fine.

Next book: Demi Moore’s memoir. Interesting title choice given that the Disney movie with the same freakin name had been out for 4 years at this point but 🤷‍♀️

My 2025 resolution is to read 12 books a month (that’s a crazy low number I know, but I only managed like 4 in 2024 so a book a month should be very doable). Just finished Fight Club bc my husband has been telling me to read it the whole 12 years we’ve been married.

Reaaaallllly grateful for Bluesky, as FB decided to have me auto-follow the new president’s page. That’s a big effing nope from me. Had planned on deleting my account, but will now be doing that on an expedited timeline. A little sad after 20 years, but not sticking around to be their robot.
