Jackson, “somebody said stick”.

Can I politely suggest that a little day trip along the coast to Saltburn by the Sea might enhance your Whitby trip?

I love living near the sea, I find it very balancing.

Appreciate this is both niche and possibly trite reply but get a dog (or any pet) or ‘adopt one occasionally’ reasons are, you spend time outdoors, promote exercise, dogs are great conversation starter prop, they’re great fun and actively contribute to ones we’ll-being.

On the Yorkshire coast in Saltburn by the Sea, we live two minutes walk from the beach, it’s Jackson’s daily playground.

It was lovely here this morning, calm before the storm, tomorrow’s forecast is pants.

Once our little spaniel had figured out where the take away eateries were in our home town he insisted on walking past as many as possible on his night time walk, hoping for ‘extra supper’.

How very lovely, the golden glow reflecting on the river is beautiful. We had a pink sky in Saltburn this morning with an added layer of frost on the beach for good measure.

This was the skyline accompanying our early morning dog beach walk.

One of the ‘joys’ of having a young active dog is we’re often up and out early, occasionally we’re rewarded with a glimpse of Mother Nature at her finest.

We had frost on the beach and partly frozen cliffs the past few days, the paths in the woods are treacherous, I resemble Bambi on ice when walking on frozen paths.

Agreed, something very special about the clarity and sharpness of the light at this time of the year especially along northern coastal areas of the country.

Jackson says ‘howdy partner’.

Hmm not to rain on your parade but when this boy received a certificate from his ‘Obedience Class’ I was super proud Momma, only to discover on reading the small print the certificate was actually for his 100% class attendance, not obedience. 🤣🤣
