They did a mass firing of staff at the National Nuclear Safety Administration. These are the people who handle the safety of our nuclear stockpile. This is so catastrophically bad.

Read this, and read it again.
Mass terminations of probationary workers also swept through the National Nuclear Security Administration, a semi-autonomous agency within the Energy Department that oversees the nation's nuclear weapons.
