I wired home assistant into prometheus and grafana last night. Any good idea for graphs? I have state timelines for my lights and motion sensors, and time series for the temperature and humidity sensors.

I wish there was some way I could get the cool rendering of plantuml without the bizarre of their language and their shockingly out-of-date and anemic documentation. And let's not even get into how error messages get reported....

I really wish tool authors would tell me what format their config files are in so I can set my editor up and I don't end up reading the source and finding out that it's result=$(grep -E "^\s*$key\s*=\s*" "$config_path" | head | sed -e 's/^[^=]*= *//' -e 's/^[[:space:]]*//' -e 's/[[:space:]]*$//')
