I'm finally going to see #nosferatu and this is the most gothic piece of clothing I own (I knitted it), so obviously this is what I'm wearing for the occasion.

I'm afraid that in the next few days I won't be able to spare much time on this picture, but I can't wait to continue! I've started to draw a more detailed underpainting and I think it helps to give the final piece a bit more grit, if that makes sense. I'll post any progress I make 😊

New WIP! Highly recommend this TK-Maxx candle btw - it even has one of my favourite Tarot cards on it (one of those that usually make me sigh with relief when I see it in a reading)

Went to see the Rembrandt exhibition at the Museum der Bildenden Künste in Leipzig a couple of weekends ago, and these two tiny sketches were what I enjoyed the most 💙 I'd recommend going, but be warned: alarms blare EVERY TIME someone gets too close to the paintings - disquieting.

It's possibly controversial, but to me, the best ever version of this will always be the cheap (beef) sausage sanga you can get in front of Bunning's in Australia.

I will have a Bratwurst im Brötchen any chance I can, BUT I will never understand the Brötchen part. Why isn't baguette bread, or softer bread, the standard?

Exploring the Leipzig Xmas markets for the first time! I was delighted to find out that there is a Medieval section? 🥺🥺 and also, the Leipzig center being sort of small, makes it feel like one giant Weinachtsmarkt, which is a v different feeling compared to Berlin and its various centers

I always feel so moved whenever I see birds migrating. Most of these ducks or geese have probably never even seen the land they're flying to, and yet deep down it's calling them, and there they go. Their ability to trust their instinct so deeply leaves me in awe every time 💙

Btw, here's the full illustration, I just showed a snippet of it yesterday :) I defo need a scanner, the photo is always a bit meh 😬 I did most of it quite quickly, but then it took me days if not weeks to sit down and add the final touches. Do you also procrastinate when you get to the end?
