Source2 map decompiler, RadGen, and sometimes pretty stuff
i wish, no decompiling its reading it directly from the vmap, which means it has to handle instances and prefabs and do its own mesh triangulation and projection

its simpler than your think! its just a model with an animated texture, the uvs are just blender -> project from view, then the image just aligns itself

Kinda, it's several materials being switched dynamically so the animations can play in random order

"this has to be matthew's work", it looks so good, the fact they even shadow correctly is insane
