I watched Manhunter.
Very intense film with really beautiful cinematography.
It used colour contrast in a way that felt simultaneously very natural, yet strikingly surreal.

Watched Trainspotting for the first time.
On the rim of a flipping coin, a recovering drug addict exists in a limbo state that highlights the similarities between his current hedonism and 90s post-Thatcher social life. Primarily the apathetic and self indulgent individualism.
It was stellar 👍
