Eric Adams dropped out of the NYC mayoral race in Sept.
But he's still coming 4th, and ahead of 3 candidates.

Given voting not compulsory, surely you'd use your vote elsewhere...

A single mother of 5 unexpectedly inherits the house she cleaned once a week for decades, when the owner (a solo man in his mid 80s) passed away.
She hopes to buy the housing commission where she’s lived most of her life.

Sometimes, the property section can deliver a non greedy gem.

Not seeing much “debate” in the AFR’s coverage of Vic Premier Jacinta Allan’s push to legislate right to work from home.

But, but what about productivity!
Who will think of the industry leaders who claim, no one asked for this!

It’s ok, world. Nothing to see.
The child in the viral image has a disability!
No issue then that he can’t access medicine & formula, is emaciated & wearing a plastic bag for a nappy.
And forget about every other image!
Watch The Oz milk this & double down on being on wrong side of everything

Just checking out Senator Matt Canavan's FB (so you don't have to).
Oh to be a man who can simply say this.

Yes, the "kiss cam" company Astronomer has an all male board.
And just 1 woman in the leadership team.
Who also happens to be the Chief People Officer.

But Google's AI Overview says Astronomer's board not all male. But then lists the 5 male board members.
Maybe Astronomer's AI products can help?

"Peter Dutton was an ugly man. He didn't resonate with female voters due to his looks & was made out to be scary.
If Dutton looked liked Robert Redford he would have shit the election in"

What a quote from the man who "speaks for the silent majority" #auspol

Spot the sneakers (Albanian PM Edi Rama loves them).
And then try to spot the women.

Can't help but notice the representation in this group of city mayors & officials sharing a united message to Trump
With LA Mayor Karen Bass up front, declaring "our communities are not battlegrounds."

I believe this happened to Tim Wilson.
The issue is why he needs to publicise it.
Also that by sharing it, he’s kind of suggesting this is the first and only such kind interaction he’s had.
You’d think someone so ‘first class’ would have more, even from non supporters.

Refreshing the AEC website for latest on vote count in Goldstein.
While sitting outside son’s band lessons where they’re practicing Bohemian Rhapsody.
The soundtrack just works.

Sarah Hanson-Young was asked to remove her 2yo daughter Kora from the Senate back in 2009.

Now Kora is voting for the first time.

She was born during her mum’s first Senate campaign in 2007 and has been along for the ride ever since.

Peter Dutton's response now to a very good quesiton about his very 'masculine' campaign.
.. So what are you doing for modern women?
"I'm offering women a chance to have a home.
"Homelessness among women are at a high under this govt..."
And the Dutton struggle contiuned from them there.

'This woman' (Tanya Plibersek) has a name.
Hate to break it to the Oz but there will be far less women in ministry jobs under the Coalition.

Hair salon bans a woman for life for suggesting the hair wash she had was 'better than sex'.
Same hair salon posts 'joke' promotional video fake kidnapping a young woman ⤵️
The woman banned happens to be independent candidate Nicolette Boele.

This is a Walkley winning 'exclusive'.

A US toddler's survival came after prayers to Pell.

We know because Archbishop of Sydney Anthony Fisher said so, during a speech on Wednesday. And he knows because he received a report from Arizona last week.

What a story.

How many people job share in the Commonwealth public service?
With job sharing being the option Peter Dutton once suggested for women who'd be affected by bans on WFH?
It was ZERO percent!
So not really much of an option then
Great graph here from the Australia Institute.
