'And Jesus said unto the righteous:

This NY Republican loser will "mobilise his supporters" (who account for around 8% of the vote) if the fairly elected Mayor does things he doesn't like.
BREAKING: Republican candidate Curtis Sliwa has conceded the NYC mayoral race to Zohran Mamdani, warning he’ll mobilise his supporters if the new mayor tries to “implement socialism” or “weaken the police.”

In Poland, parents of 2 or more kids will soon pay ZERO personal income tax.
It's a "family-friendly' policy from a "family-first" right-wing president trying to lift the population (while being anti-immigration).
Will it work? womensagenda.com.au/latest/eds-b...
Poland is abolishing income tax for families raising two or more kids. Will it help?
Poland's new zero-income tax approach hopes to encourage more people to have children. Not everyone's convinced it will work.

Albanese survived Trump.
At what cost for rest of us?
Aukus remains. Now a critical minerals deal with promise to sidestep enviro laws + spend billions speeding up extraction and processing.
So US can disrupt China supply chain?

Deals done. Trump appeased. The cost of today's meeting of men
The cost will be paid now and for generations. As AUKUS remains and a new critical minerals pact is signed, promising to speed up investments.

Also love seeing so many finishers still wearing their medals in the CBD today.

Didn’t see anyone proudly indicating they had attended an anti immigration march.
Police say 15,000 people attended Sydney’s anti-immigration march.

Meanwhile, 35,000 people registered to run in the Sydney Marathon.

So more than twice as many people wanted to get up early on a Sunday and run a marathon (or maybe the shorter event at least)
So that’s something, right?

Imagine getting column space in a national newspaper...
And using it to celebrate another country's PM, who is wanted for crimes against humanity.
As a means to attack an Australian PM who had the (very late) nerve to call out the wanted war criminal PM's denial of starvation in Gaza.
Ergo: Australia should commit more war crimes for the sake of economic growth
