Is it all the same texture? Because mine’s obsessed with licking rough textured metal or nubbly plastic (like on a cheap shopping bag handle), and otherwise he’s been healthy and fine for 17 years

Doing the move-out inspection for a place I rented a decade ago, landlord opened the front door, allowing the wind to blow several leaves in to the landing, looked down at said leaves and said, “Well, this isn’t clean, is it?” 🙃

Quite happy to share! I also have a few writing exercises (short and simple ones) that I’ve used when leading workshops on breaking through writers block that I can send as well, if you think they might be helpful!

But working from a prompt for 5-10 minutes has been really helpful to give a bit of structure at the beginning, rather than sitting and staring at a blank page. You’re welcome to dm and I can send you some of the ones we’ve used :)

I started a writing group a few months ago that writes from prompts, just freewriting with no end goal in mind, and it’s been so restorative in a time when I’ve struggled with output. Definitely take the break if you need it (you can’t pour from an empty teapot, after all)
