My husband is a trailing edge Boomer, & his parents are still alive! You’ve completely skipped Gen X! 😑 But we’re used to that.

This is just total bragging, but today, my brilliant, beautiful, daring girl turns 24. I don’t know where the years have gone, but she’s as precious to me today as she was on this date 24 years ago! Feliz cumple, chica!

Today we realized as a faculty that serving a large immigrant population means that in the new year, we will need to understand legal rights for officials to access the campus and do everything we can to protect our students. From the government. In the US.

I’m sure everyone has read about the “Quiverfull” movement, re couples having crazy large numbers of children.
In reality, population explosion is not good for many reasons, so I had to wonder: if we wanted a stable population, what should THOSE birth rates look like?
