Hands up who thinks the brown stuff has hit the fan in Downing Street 😝

He needs to stop being a plastic Tory and come back to the left.

I believe that Trump is showing us why we (the U.K.) need to be a part of the EU and for the EU to look east rather than west for friends and partners.

I think Starmer and Reeves have killed off any semblance of hope any of us had in U.K. politicians.

They are not making things better - they have not moved us on from the Tory years.

Honestly, why would I want to listen to a group of people from outside of the club discussing Liverpool transfers. If it isn’t from the club or an individual from within the club who knows what’s happening, then this is a waste of my time and the BBCs . www.bbc.co.uk/sport/footba...

We need to start referring to the period between 2010 and 2014 as the Tory years.
This morning, the news is that Lake Windermere is being cleaned up after pollution during the last few years, it should say, cleaning after the pollution during the Tory Years. Let’s remind people of who are to blame!!

I don’t get it - people are struggling to understand Trump and what he wants. For me it’s clear, it will always be the bottom line, for him first and America after that. Everyone can scramble for the crumbs.
Defending Europe is a net cost, he will get rid of that

I don’t agree. To challenge Farage, you must make people’s lives better. Make them happy about the society they live in which they understand, depends upon taxes, community and immigration. We don’t need a lurch to the right.

An exiled group within Labour is making a comeback – it could hold the key to repelling Farage | Julian Coman
Many of Blue Labour’s diagnoses have been proved correct. With Reform targeting Labour’s working-class support, a reappraisal is overdue, says Guardian associate editor Julian Coman

Both the church and the monarchy are out of step with who we are as a country. Additionally, we need to replace the unelected HoL with an elected replacement - maybe one with a representative from each of the 382 local councils across the U.K. www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...

Help - I have my favourite no/low alcohol beers
1. Lucky Saint
2. Impossibrew.

Does anyone else have any recommendations, sharing where your non-alcoholic tipples can be bought from.

Maybe say a little on why it’s your drink of choice.

Listening to Hugh Grant on BBCR4 this morning. Loved what he said.
1. It’s time for the PM to be brave - omg, how many of us are saying that???
2. The newspapers are just a mouthpiece for their billionaire owners - we know that, but why do we let them influence so much?
Well done Mr Grant 👏

Europe generated more energy from wind and solar than from nuclear power last year.

We don’t need more nuclear power plants.

I would be very happy to have more wind turbines in urban centres to power homes and commerce.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but it has been more than 24 hrs since Trump took office. I think that Russia’s illegal war against the Ukraine is still raging.

Today is the day to stay away from the News. Particularly the sycophantic BBC, and the Guardian isn’t much better these days.
I’m beginning to feel like an island in an ocean of angry right wing selfish hatred.

It's been quite something to watch supposedly 'patriotic' British newspapers actively cheerleading on a foreign administration that is openly working against our interests.
