Just a feral koala typing on a cell phone found among the Eucalyptus.
Spiders are so amazing.

I read an interesting article yesterday that described how some very tiny spiders build much larger "decoy" puppet spiders (up to 3x their actual size) out of debris, parts of their prey, and their own silk to ward off predators.

Tiny spiders turn their webs into 'theaters of deception' with giant 'puppets' to stave off predators
Researchers have documented the strange antics of two tropical spider species that build giant, arachnid-shaped decoys out of silk, plant matter and prey remains in their webs.

Einstein was only 26 when he authored his famous papers on the Photoelectric Effect, Brownian motion, Special Relativity and the Mass - Energy Equivalence in 1901. To this day, those papers serve as the foundation of modern physics.

Republican disrespect for the Rule of Law, and our Constitution is nothing new:

62% of those getting SNAP are in families with children. 37% have family members who are elderly, or disabled per Federal rules.
Cutting SNAP not only impacts them, but also every grocery store, and their employees as people will no longer be able to afford food their SNAP lifeline provided.

As was common for buildings of this era, the walls of the East Wing were full of asbestos, and covered in lead paint.
Because of Trump's haste, worker and site safety regulations were not observed. Trump has turned our White House, and its grounds, into a hazardous waste dump.

Representatives and Senators should be sworn in by any member of the state government that elected them. They were intended to represent the people of that state's interests. That's what made them a Member of Congress, not a house or senate leader's whim.

It's so nice to hear a President speaking in complete sentences. Making his points with ease, using common sense. Today's Republicans have lost the ability to govern. They don't honor their oath to support and defend the U.S. Constitution. They support the whims, chaos and threats of Trump.

This aerodynamic perfection evolved just to permit this bird to gently obtain nectar from flowers with astonishing precision. Your video shows off this miracle of biology so well.

Why design it to walk or run instead of roll?

Absolutely. It is the Trump Bribe Room.
These companies are complicit in destroying an area that has served prior First Ladies and their staff. They're paying to replace it with a tacky, gold-plated den of corruption as SNAP benefits are being cut off, and many will now go hungry.

What really concerns me is that this wild swing to the right is happening in so many countries, all at the same time.

As I'm rather "koala-ty" myself, it's really nice to see you all hanging with an old friend of mine.

Very pretty, but also very toxic.

I'll just be her hoping window friend saw you go to the US, and decided to take a trip too. So you'd both have stories to share at the window.

Mars lacks a magnetic field to protect an atmosphere from the solar wind, it also lacks enough mass to have enough gravity to help hold onto an atmosphere. Those are very difficult problems to eliminate.

They complain about noise, but allow those gaisen uyoku to roam freely on their own streets? Hmmm.

At least we can take some comfort in that it's likely these people won't have children, and raise those kids to be just as bigoted.

Your post woke up some nice memories for me. Thanks, LaShawn.

Bluesky is still young, and like a teenager. A perfect environment for world building braindumps. At least until the adults show up.

For an animal that has a coat color change in response to cooler weather, my guess would have been their fur would drift toward white, to blend in better with snow. Of course, not following the basic rules of natural selection is on-brand for cats.

Once a religious entity, or its leadership, dips a toe into politics they should no longer enjoy tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the IRS Code. They should also be subject to state and local taxes.

Separation of Church and State is vital to the protection of our religious freedoms.

Today it was 40C (104F) where I live. At least my apartment management installed a new air conditioner/heater in my place last year!
