Basically, not a giant man-baby, but rather a reliable adult. Which, IMO, is more accurate than women wanting their fantasy boyfriend to be a leader, necessarily. (YMMV, natch.)

Re: the leadership stuff: there was someone in the comments rephrasing it as "what we do want is someone who's managing their own life (and/or fantasy plot lines) well, who is also someone we can trust to take over for a bit if we need help or a break".

Exactly. And the other side of the coin is that being working class doesn't necessarily mean you're poor. Certain working class jobs can pay just as well as -- or even better than -- middle class jobs. Class and income are connected, but they aren't the same thing.
