I have bought probably 30 copies of this to send to my friends - I genuinely believe it to be one of the most brilliant and important pieces of art composed in the last couple of decades. For my money, it brings the grounding and optimism we need now. And it was shot by the great Spike Lee!

I hope I live to see Yulia Navalnya as president of a free and prosperous Russia. This family and this organization are truly inspiring - it sickens me that as they struggle, we here in America are blithely skipping toward Putin-esque kleptocracy. Absolute madness

…is a testament to the determination of idealists dedicated to making society better for all. It’s a long, continuous fight, and the side of right is on the back foot for now. All the more reason to dig in and resist apathy and complacency. History will judge us by our actions.

I think it helps to remind ourselves that this is part of a historical pattern. People with wealth and power have always strived to maintain it, and the rest of us have had to struggle and scrap for a place at the table. That any progress at all has been made in the last thousand or so years…
