Thank you, @senmcnerney.bsky.social and team for incredible leadership on SB 279!
Great news! Gov. @gavinnewsom.bsky.social today signed my SB 279, which will help farmers and winegrape growers by allowing them to compost large amounts of agricultural waste onsite rather than shipping it hundreds of miles away to a composting facility.

Congratulations and thank you to California Senator Henry Stern for introducing SB 500, legislation that will reduce our utility rates while improving utility performance and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

@la28games.bsky.social - When you were awarded to LA, CM Koretz & Mayor Garcetti pushed you hard for the most enviro-progressive, most climate-friendly Olympics ever.

We still expect that to occur.

Especially now.

My Wordle yesterday.

The actual way to test if leaders are Godly or not.

Would they?

Or are they driven by it?

“The bottom line: Climate change didn't provide the spark that caused each of these catastrophic fires in LA County. But it's making such fires worse.”

#Woolsey taught us what happens when the rains come.

Toxic plastics, pesticides, chemical cleaners... all in the air and groundwater.

And when it rains, it will drain into the ocean.
Shockingly few people are talking about the toxic air and water in LA.

It’s eerily reminiscent of early days of the pandemic when we were assured we didn’t have to mask

Listen to air quality experts. The same folk educating about IAQ & COVID are providing life saving info now.

And wear a mask.

And left a large room of water experts utterly speechless.
