It’s absolutely saddening to see that people who have gone to medical school for 6 years, getting debts of £100,000+ for this, then work for 2+ years more find themselves unemployed whilst waiting lists are so long.

This chart illustrates the problem well at the post-F2 level. Increasingly more applicants, may from across the world, competing for a per capita smaller amount of jobs.

It’s only worsening the longer the government does not take action as more and more are stuck in the system and many will leave the profession (or the country) as a result.

The employment crisis is probably more pressing. I know of many colleagues who could not find a job or are in precarious employment due to government strangulation of training posts and GP/Consultant posts.

I can't imagine a job i'd like to do less. Managing an organisation held to a ludicrous standard by roaring idiots on a daily basis, while the main mediums it uses are all in decline and it's starved of resources.

Pregnancy and childbirth are highly complicated and full of risks. It is notable that amongst medicine so much of this area has been transferred to people without medical degrees or postgraduate medical training.

The greens are no doubt doing better than before, but a lot of people who understand polls seem to take issue with FindOutNow’s methodology and previous record. As a journalist you should indicate that in your post.

I expect the Greens don’t have the infrastructure yet to target beyond 10-20 seats, but you can see how the logic on tactical voting will quickly flip in a hailstorm of targeted campaigning. And there will be a lot of 2nd places like for Lib Dems in 2019 which then produced the jump for 2024.

But Labour really need to do better and quick. People I know who voted Labour last time are not at all happy, and so I think any tactical appeal will have significantly diminishing returns. At some point with this you end up with the far right in charge.
