Well the same source has a big breakdown of how much water they're using. If you compare it to other consumptive uses of freshwater it doesn't look like a lot, even if (as predicted) their water use is multiplied by 3 by 2028

Yeah super TLDR but:
1) Main misconception I bump into is that EA tends right-wing. EA actually has the politics of a left-leaning city.
2) The vast majority of people in EA aren't "AI doomer" and mostly have small but significant "p(doom)" from AI

If you read "AI: The New Aesthetics of Fascism" they among other things imply Shrek is fascist alongside Nazi repression. This just seems elitist.

Reading Edz's How to argue with an AI booster FAQ and, like, how is this an own of what boosters say? "Inference isn't what happens when you enter a query into ChatGPT, it's what the AI does to answer the prompt"... this whole thing seems pretty confused.
