Design for people and planet - with a heavy sway towards heat pumps and energy.
Maybe sometimes more money isn’t the answer? Just doing things differently or better.

We actually have a new update on the data side of this work up today - on how we’re trying to cluster properties that are suitable for different types of heat technology

Got to stress the heat pump was not quick either - 34 days from contacting the installer to commissioning. And Andy’s circumstances were a bit unusual (primarily that he already had a hot water tank and his central heating needed some work). But still…

Yes, and it’ll depend on the type of property as to which solution is best.

Nothing springs to mind to divert air flow but you may want to check out www.instagram.com/heatpumpchic... run by a colleague for some inspiration.

Thanks Annie - my colleagues have done some work on noise levels. (www.nesta.org.uk/report/air-s...) Placement of the outdoor unit is important! We’re interested in looking at shared ground source hp arrays, heat networks and other solutions in this work. It may mean an outdoor unit isn’t needed.

We’re looking to test key elements of our proposal from earlier in the year with partners around the UK

We’ve doubled down on three areas. Zoning, scheme design and delivery.

Thanks frank! There’s already a suitable base in the orientation we’d hope to move it to! Good to know it’s pretty straightforward. I’ll chat to our installer!
