UTMB. Got it done. Some good (Courmayeur through to La Fouly), some bad (Les Contamines to Les Chapieux, so bad on the descent into Chapieux) and plenty of ugly (hallucinating my way down from Flegere to Chamonix). What an experience. What a journey. What an adventure. Proud to get that done

What an absolutely epic day out in the hills that was! It wasn't fast or pretty but got it done. And Crib Goch wasn't that bad, especially with a guide to reassure throughout. We started out at sunrise and finished just as the sun set and the mountains threw all sorts of weather at us

Praying mantis update... It appears to be having fun climbing up the back of the sunbed. Not sure what (s)he is going to do when it reaches the top though

It's bloody well camouflaged in the grass (this is from close up but honestly if I didn't it was there would definitely miss it)

Open up the umbrella next to the pool. This little fella was hanging out inside. I bloody love praying mantis
