Not going to lie, I have an absurdly bad feeling about the Epstein files being released by this regime. When Trump says it is going to backfire on the Dems, don't take that as an empty threat or a deflection, it is a full blown promise.

If the Epstein Files bill passes the Senate with just a little whimper of a protest from the GOP, I will be fully convinced the files have been scrubbed. There is no way in 3 days time could they have gone from dying on this hill to full cooperation without full certainty they are free and clear.

The media needs to move on from the House Epstein vote and focus ALL of its attention on John Thune and the Senate. They are going to gut the bill and hide many many names.

I worry that trusting the Dems to have a contingency plan in place if any released documents appear to be missing or redacted in a way to protect people may be a fool's errand. Do they have copies of the documents in their possession to cross reference? Or is this just a complete shot in the dark?
