How did I get to be nearly 60 without knowing/noticing that the clock on the Elizabeth Tower ("Big Ben") doesn't use "proper" roman numerals...instead, the architect, Augustus Pugin, swapped "F" for "X" as he thought it more aesthetically pleasing....
