I’m not sure yet but probably KDP or D2D. Seems to be the most common place.

Between beta reader rounds, yes I have. I’ve been fortunate to have some very skilled friends around me.

I am yes, with the help of my creative writing group and a couple of rounds of beta readers. This is my first novel and I’ve learned so much.

I believe I’m on my sixth or seventh revision. I can’t really remember all the edits just seem to blur into one 😂. I’m hoping once I’ve done this round it will be minor spell checks and repetition run through afterwards. So nearly there!

It’s historical fiction, set in 8th century Wessex. 😄

Thank you. I’m hoping to self publish this year, I’ve not set myself any hard deadlines because that will put more needless pressure on me. I’m a new writer and I’m under no illusion that it will require a lot of editing. It’s hard to motivate yourself sometimes.

Thank you for the tip I’m trying to do a chapter at a time. I’m also a stay at home dad so there’s not much time for me to do so. It’s just not as exciting as writing the “story” haha. This is my first novel so I’m open to any tips and suggestions so thanks again

Unfortunately I’m not in a position to be able to pay an editor. I’ve done first and second draft and I’m on my first proper edit I’m 2/3rds of the way through but it’s been a slog.

Exciting good luck with your edits. I look forward to seeing the updates

Apollo reached down from Olympus and plucked the hairs of a stallion stretching them across a branch twisted into the shape of a heart. Thus the harp was born, a gift from the Gods.

This is exactly the type of history I love. The ones often glossed over. I don’t live far from the Brecons. Thanks for sharing I’ll keep an eye out for the book.

Thank you, what type of thing do you enjoy seeing at the end?
