February is a month of love for obvious reasons. But it’s also the month Danielle and I celebrate our anniversary and it’s SLCP’s birth month. These albums and artists are special to us because they make us think of love.

Music has always been an important part of my life, it has always been something that helps define who I am. I have quite a few friendships that have lasted decades built on similar music tastes. This year I’m going to change out albums on my wall to coincide with seasons or current events. January:

The only solace I’ve found since the election is to read books about how we got here and how we can get out. These 3 I’d classify as must reads by @timothysnyder.bsky.social and @leecmcintyre.bsky.social. It’s going to get much worse and it won’t get better unless we all do what’s right. Every day.
