First book of the Year was Out by Tim Shipman. What a claustrophobic read about the personalities and disputes of the last five years. Loved and hated parts of the book. Squabbling, egos and the briefing to the press is astounding.

Narrative non-fiction at its finest. Deeply researched and intertwined storylines make a compelling and exhilarating read. A meditation on the fallacy of memory and forgetting during the troubles. Superb. 💙📚
