First book of the Year was Out by Tim Shipman. What a claustrophobic read about the personalities and disputes of the last five years. Loved and hated parts of the book. Squabbling, egos and the briefing to the press is astounding.

Watching the Harris Walz rally last night and I was struck by the amount of time the word service was used. Was Starmer influenced by American system to use this or has the Dems seen this working successfully in the UK?
