I grew up in the 70s and 80s and went to a county primary school in England and a state secondary. Both in fairly rough areas. We sang hymns & prayed constantly. Did RE for 3 years 11-14. It was Christian RE where the Bible was taught as truth. It was a strange time of transition for education... 😂
