I decided to take a Lime bike home after dinner on Tuesday instead of accepting a ride home in a car because I thought a bike ride would feel nice. I ended up getting shot drive-by style by a pellet gun 4 times from a car driving by, for apparently no reason.

I'm not trying to boast, just reminding my fellow whites: there are lots of things you can do to support people of color in your daily life. Putting your money where your mouth is, like buying products made by Native folks, and intentionally educating yourself are just a couple ways.

I sold my car two years ago and just tried to deselect it from Credit Karma, since I don't need an auto loan or insurance anymore. But, apparently, not owning a car is inconceivable to them and I "must add a car" to proceed. Wild stuff. 🚫🚗

Alleyways are such an underrated part of the many cities they exist in. Seattle's are so functional and so beautiful that I often wonder why they don't exist everywhere.
