As a mostly linux user at home, the linux community in general is so terrible for that kind of response.
It's very similar to the "host it yourself" crowd that seems prevalent on mastodon.
They are not helping things at all, and just alienating more people, imo.

i remember a number of years ago when they removed the post box (is that the right name for it?) from our neighborhood, and we were devastated, it was just so convenient.

mmmm soft ginger cookies are my favorite, haha. the ones from costco are soft too i believe, and very tasty.

i grew up with lunch, and supper/dinner used interchangeably, and was thoroughly confused when my wife's family used lunch/dinner interchangeably. now i'm just used to it! 🤷

We had great food at Promenade Brasserie last year, and we've been meaning to go back but haven't had a chance yet! I blame our way-too-picky 11 year old, haha.

they were amazing tonight, impressed how vibrant they were even from within the city. and so much movement too!

if you're talking about the dude on the left, then yeah, he always is doing giveaways and stuff for the Jets/Moose and i've seen him at SeaBears events too, so i guess he works for them all? i dunno. but he's always so full of energy and good at hyping up the crowd, haha.

gorillas was awesome! and fun to hack on too. before that we had an Apple II compatible computer called a Laser 128, if memory serves correctly.
we also played a lot of Scorched Earth which probably got some inspiration from gorillas.

we went to watch some of the older kids that Mase played ball with last year last night and it was a mistake to wear shorts and a t-shirt. we were all glad we at least grabbed hoodies on the way out. man it was cold!

yeah I've seen a group of CPC people for my area in a few places. the end of the Disreali Bridge heading NB around rush hour, and also at the Nairn Panet intersection. had loud music playing and trying to get cars to honk. Looked like mostly youngish looking people too.
