Oregon Valley Futbol Alliance 2006 Boys team took down ECRL side Eugene Metros 2-1 Saturday. This goal from Jonah Lasselle was the difference.
Since returning to 5A prior to the 2022 season, the Summit boys soccer team has gone 45-6-4 with losses to 6A Lincoln, Jesuit, Lakeridge, plus 5A LaSalle in the title game last year.
The other two losses are to West Albany. Can lightning strike the Storm thrice? We'll find out tonight.

Transfers in high school have become so prevalent, we have hour long podcasts covering all the changes in Oregon 5A boys basketball.
I see both sides of this argument, but ultimately to me the time to transfer is after 8th grade. Fully on board with open enrollment before then.

Since Mitch Canham became coach, OSU is one of only 3 schools to make at least a regional final in 5 consecutive seasons and one of only 5 schools to make at least 3 Super Regional appearances.

Pretty sick of the Angel Reese hate. The woman isn’t the best scorer and she’s still made it to the top level of her sport. Ben Wallace made the hall of fame as a 41% free throw shooter. I get not liking her personality, but this nonstop trashing of her game is ridiculous.

Mitch Canham and Rich Dorman have now led the Beavs to at least a regional final in five consecutive seasons for the first time in program history.

My hot take is that Jayson Tatum is the most overrated player in the NBA. I swear every time I watch, he’s jacking up bad 3’s and missing layups….yet somehow he’s All-NBA every year. My eyes betray me so badly on him.

Watched some AAU spring hoops today. Cost me $15, which is robbery but whatever. Watched a game where one team had a 2027 player ranked in the top 10 in the state, 4 2026s in the top 42, and a 2025 ranked in the 30s
Other team had nobody ranked in the top 60 in any class. Unheralded kids won 99-92.

Just realized Damien Martinez is still on the board. Can we please stop with departing Beavs saying they’re leaving for exposure? You’re telling me he wouldn’t have had the same chance of going in the late rounds at OSU as he has at Miami? Just say you took the money, it’s fine. We all get it.
